This series was made as a typographic exercise and exploration into hand lettering. Every poster was meticulously hand lettered and illustrated, using existing fonts as a template and expanding from there. For the actual subject matter, I took heavy inspiration from my aunt Jennifer who absolutely loved elephants. It started with one poster, and slowly grew into a series. Themed after safari animals, every poster is based on a fun fact on lifestyles and habitual traits each animal has. Elephants work in a matriarchal structure, Rhino fathers leave their offspring after 3 years, and Impalas work in a marvelous fashion of sticking in a heard when chased. The more you know!
