incontext Magazine

Growing up, my father showed me how to do a lot of reconstruction and home improvement. He also had a background of being an architect. That said, I was always surrounded by dozens of magazines that cover either home improvement or architecture. That’s what inspired me to make InContext.

It’s a great blend of DIY home improvement methods and architectural information. It covers a wide aray of information, while tieing each subject into the next, making sure not to stretch too far from the subject matter. I wanted to stray from the typical aesthetic of grungy, dirty power tools and paint, and went with a clean, modern design approach.
